NIACC cheerleading tryouts set for April 8

MASON CITY - NIACC cheerleading tryouts are set for April 8 in the NIACC gym.

The tryouts will begin at 2 p.m.

Judging will be based on jumps, voice projection, arm technique, tumbling (not required), and attitude. Participants will be required to wear a solid colored tank top and shorts. 

A cheer and short pom dance will be taught to be judged.

Each participant should prepare a cheer of their choice to be judged.
