COUNCIL BLUFFS - The NIACC baseball team dropped a doubleheader to Iowa Western on Sunday.
The Reivers won the first game 13-2 in five innings and took the second game 5-4.
In the first game, the Trojans received a two-run home run in the fifth inning from Fox Leum.
In the second game, the Trojans' Dylan Criquet-Danielson hit a solo home run and Anthony Catalano was 2 for 3, including a double and a triple, with two RBIs.
Iowa Western broke a 4-4 tie with a single run on a sacrifice fly in the sixth inning.
NIACC (6-7 overall) wraps up its four-game series with Iowa Western on Monday. The first game is slated to start at noon.
