MARSHALLTOWN - The NIACC baseball team hit four home runs and topped Marshalltown CC 17-9 in seven innings on Friday in a nonconference contest.
NIACC received home runs form Shane Kelleher, Fox Leum, Bryce Ball and Ezequias Encarnacion.
Ball and Leum both drove in four runs.
Blake Preston (2-0) gained the win in relief for the Trojans. He pitched three innings allowing one run on four hits with two strikeouts and two walks.
The Trojans (20-17-1) return to action Saturday and Sunday in a four-game ICCAC series at Iowa Central. The first game starts at 1 p.m. on Saturday and noon on Sunday.
