NIACC's Leum earns ICCAC player of week honor

MASON CITY - NIACC's Fox Leum was selected as the ICCAC baseball player of the week for the week of Feb. 19-25.

Leum was 5 for 9, including two home runs, with seven runs scored and 10 RBIs in the Trojans' three-game sweep over MCC-Maple Woods.

In the season-opening 18-6 win on Sunday, Leum was 2 for 5, including two home runs, with six RBIs.

Leum, who is hitting .556, was 3 for 3 with three RBIs in first game 19-4 win over MCC-Maple Woods on Monday.

NIACC (3-0) returns to action Saturday and Sunday in a four-game series at Crowder College in Neosho, Mo,
