Large School East stops Small Schools East, 7-1

MASON CITY – Pella's Grant Judkins struck out nine batters in five innings of work to lead the Large Schools East team to a 7-1 victory over the Small Schools East in the second game of the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association all-star series Thursday night at Roosevelt Field.

Judkins allowed a single run in the third inning.

The Large Schools East squad scored single runs in the first, fifth, sixth and seventh innings and pushed across two runs in the third inning.
