1959 (Art Lundblad)
Under first-year coach Art Lundblad, the Mason City Junior College Trojans compiled a record of 5-1-1.
The only blemishes on the Trojans' record was a 19-19 tie with rival Waldorf College and a loss to Worthington in the final game of the season.
The Trojans, who outscored their opponents 129-74, averaged 283.4 yards of offense per game, including 158.7 per game rushing.
Sophomore quarterback Val Mannens was selected to the Wigwam Wisemen Association of New Mexico all-American team. Mannens completed 44 of 89 passes for 875 yards and 12 touchdowns.
